Why Jackie Forster’s kids aren’t in showbiz yet

Jackie Forster explained that the reason why her children with her second husband Michel Franken have yet to enter show business is that she wants them to enjoy their childhood first.
“It’s because I truly want the kids to first enjoy their childhood and gain experience and memories like normal children do while also preparing them to be able to express and exploit their talents when their time comes to shine,” wrote Forster in an Instagram post last Wednesday, Nov. 21.

Forster wants her children to refrain from committing the same mistakes she did when she was at the receiving end of fame. She also noted that the “watchful and oftentimes judgmental eye of the public” will make raising her children harder than it already is.
“It’s tricky, of course I want my kids to be confident and courageous but also considerate and compassionate,” she added, thanking her fans for their support for her children, Jared, Caleigh and Yohan. “So far because of all of your support on IG and other avenues we have been using to help them express themselves — it seems they have good heads on their shoulders and are enjoying their childhood!”
Forster is thankful their family has a stable source of income as it helps them in deciding on the guesting and other job offers they receive — they accept offers because they want to, not because they are in need of money. She then expressed that she initially shared photos and videos on social media to contact her sons with Benjie Paras, Andre and Kobe.
“The reason I shared on social media in the beginning was so my two sons have a peephole into my life and I had a little avenue to send messages to them that can’t be edited by others but from now on it will be purely to inspire, uplift and hopefully help people who have lost hope, who are running out of ideas or if you are just feeling lonely or bored,” she stated.
While Forster has no plans of using her social media platforms to promote products or brands at the moment, she divulged she is interested in showing more of her family’s life by means of a vlog.
“I have been entertaining your requests to put up a vlog and in the coming months I might actually begin,” she said. “If I do pursue it, it will be very casual and more of a diary than anything else.” JB
