Child star Baeby Baste was hospitalized due to dengue once again.

The 6-year-old “Eat Bulaga” mainstay can be seen bearing a hospital tag and holding on to his Mama Shiela’s hand, through a photo on his Instagram account yesterday, Nov. 5. He recently came from Osaka, Japan after a family vacation.

“Dong, be brave,” the post read. As a way of feeling better, Baste was advised that every shot he gets will help him feel better.

“Get well soon [my son],” his mom, who manages his Instagram page with his dad, told him. “Let’s just offer and trust everything to Him, because no prayer goes unanswered.”

To help put a smile on his face despite his condition, his best friend and co-host Alden Richards visited him.

And instead of feeling down, Baste made light of his situation with another post, bearing cute baby pictures of himself. “Bata pa lang po ako, habulin na talaga ako… habulin ng mga lamok,” he joked. “[M]ula noon, hanggang ngayon loyal sila sa akin.”

(Since I was young, I have always been chased… chased by mosquitoes. Since then until now, they have been loyal to me.)

Baste was first hospitalized with the same condition back in July. During that time, his younger brother Samsam also had high fever. JB
