Kris Aquino doesn’t regret loving Mike Padlan: ‘Sanay akong mabigo’

After Dr. Mike Padlan’s son came to the defense of his father, Kris Aquino revised her earlier statement on her breakup with the doctor and said she has done so because of her love for his children.
Aquino previously said that Mike left her because he wanted the freedom to travel and to break free from needing to care for her due to her autoimmune diseases. She further stated that the doctor did not love her, and that he supposedly “trash talks and curses” Aquino’s best friends and doctors.
After these claims circulated on social media, Mike’s son, Miguel, spoke up about “how some people twist the truth and create baseless narratives.” Miguel also insisted that his dad truly loved and deeply cared for “Mama Kris.”
Aquino then made changes in her earlier statement, noting, “I edited because there are two children whom I love. They will remain in my heart.”
She only referred to them as “M and M” although she included a message to them in which she called herself as “Mama Kris.”
Apparently quoting Mike, Kris wrote, “’INIWAN KITA, masikip ang paligid’ (I left you [because] the environment was constricted)—my prayer now is that we leave others out of our failure.”
“I did cling and asked for too much because YOU RESTORED MY HOPE, WHEN IN YOUR ARMS I DID FEEL SAFE. I don’t regret loving you completely. Sanay akong mabigo (I am used to failing [in love]),” she said.
