Colombian beauty queen calls on aspirants to join Binibining Pilipinas 2025

Reigning The Miss Globe 2024 Diana Moreno is inviting Filipino women who are dreaming of becoming beauty queens to join the Binibining Pilipinas pageant, now that applications are being accepted for the 2025 edition.
The Colombian beauty made the pitch when she sat with INQUIRER.net during her brief visit to Manila earlier this month, part of her Asian tour that also brough her to Nepal, India, Thailand, Vietnam, and Malaysia.
“Hello Binibining Pilipinas. So the application is open right now, so please join us because a beauty pageant is very beautiful. It’s a big platform to inspire others,” Moreno said.
“You need to get that experience, because it’s beautiful. You’ll meet a lot of sisters in that contest. So I hope to meet all of you,” added the Colombian beauty, who was welcomed by her second runner-up Jasmin Bungay and the rest of the 2024 Bb. Pilipinas winners.
“They were so sweet and kind to me. The welcoming was amazing. And also I have more sisters in the Philippines, it’s amazing,” Moreno shared.
She also got to meet The Miss Globe 2021 Maureen Montagne, who she found to be “sweet and gorgeous.” The American-Filipino woman is the last winner from the Philippines to date.
“It’s a pleasure, and I’m so honored to meet her. It’s funny, actually, when I won the crown the fans wrote to me on Instagram and they told me I have some similarity to Maureen. Maybe one day you can take a picture with her.’ And finally yesterday I got that picture,” Moreno shared.
The reigning international beauty also got to spend time with Anna Valencia Lakrini, the Bb. Pilipinas queen who finished third in The Miss Globe 2023 pageant, while visiting Manila.
Among those who had already sent their applications for Bb. Pilipinas 2025 is former reality TV personality Kai Espenido, who is the reigning Miss FIT (Face, Intelligence, Tone) Philippines titleholder.
The Australian-Filipino lass from Siargao was a housemate in “Pinoy Big Brother Kumunity Season 10,” where Bb. Pilipinas runner-up Samantha Bernardo finished third.
Ladies who are interested in taking part in the Bb. Pilipinas 2025 pageant may download the application form from the official website. Once accomplished, they may e-mail the form and other requirements to BPCI@aranetagroup.com or personally deliver them to the BPCI office in Quezon City. The deadline is set on Friday, March 21.
