Vice Ganda surprises Ogie Alcasid with birthday party

Vice Ganda threw a surprise party to celebrate Ogie Alcasid’s 51st birthday.

Vice gathered his and Alcasid’s mutual friends to surprise the singer. Some of the attendees were Gary Valenciano, Randy Santiago, Billy Joe Crawford and Pauleen Luna.

Alcasid shared snapshots of the event through Instagram posts uploaded on Aug. 29. His birthday was on the 27th. In one of the posts Alcasid wrote, “@praybeytbenjamin Salamat sa surprise party mo. I am so touched. Love you so much!”

His second post revealed Vice had planned the party with Alcasid’s eldest daughter Leila, wife Regine Velasquez and Rey Lanada.

Alcasid recently celebrated his 30th year in show biz through the “OA” anniversary concert held last Aug. 24 at the Araneta Coliseum.  /ra
