LOOK: Ogie Alcasid visits Gary Valenciano, reveals ‘Mr. Pure Energy’ has 4 more days in hospital

Ogie Alcasid took time off from his schedule to visit his recovering friend Gary Valenciano in the hospital.

Alcasid said in an Instagram post today that he visited Valenciano on May 9 to check up on his friend’s condition. He also had a snapshot taken with Mr. Pure Energy to show that he is doing well.

Martin Nievera asked through the comment thread how long would Valenciano be staying in the hospital . It appeared he planned to visit as well, but he is still in the United States.

The singer appears to be in California visiting his twin sister Vicky and winding down from his last performance at the M Resort, Las Vegas, last April 28, according to an Instagram post dated May 6.

Alcasid replied to the inquiry and revealed Valenciano may need to stay confined for four more days.

Donita Rose also chimed in on the comment thread and teasingly wrote, “Not faiiiiiiir!!!” for not inviting her to come along.

Valenciano underwent open heart surgery on May 6 to clear up his heart’s left main coronary artery, which had been blocked 95 percent of the way. On May 8 the performer uploaded an Instagram video reassuring fans and friends that he’s on the road to recovery.  /ra
