Arci Muñoz slams bashers calling her acting ‘pabebe,’ exaggerated: ‘Mamatay kayo sa inggit!’
Apparently Kapamilya actress Arci Muñoz did not like some of the comments of her online critics about her character in her latest drama-comedy series “Since I Found You” with heartthrob Piolo Pascual. Muñoz plays the role of “Dani” in the series, an intern who falls in love with “Nathan” (Pascual), the owner of the company. The series, which is directed by Antoinette Jadaone, premiered on April 16.
Bashers recently took to Twitter to criticize Muñoz’s acting in “Since I Found You,” calling it as “pabebe” and overacting. Muñoz did not appreciate these comments as she wrote on her Twitter account last May 4, “Eh anong gusto mo? Iyakan, patayan? Ganun? Hayaan mo nga si Dani, nagpapacute sya sa boypren nya eh!”
In succeeding tweets, she wrote, “Sa mga taong nagsasabing O.A. si Dani mamatay kayo sa inggit!!! Palibhasa wala kayong tito Nathan! Pak you all!!”
Eh anong gusto mo? Iyakan, patayan? Ganun? Bye! 😴 https://t.co/pb9jqUyuJ8

It seems, however, that the issue on Twitter wasn’t finished when a certain Ann Chua replied to Muñoz’s tweet last May 6, “Agree din ako sa opinion ng iba na OA ka sa ‘SIFY’, actually inabangan ko yun, kc finally may teleserye na light lang but then nung mga second week na i stop watching it, kc nakakairita yung pagka OA ng acting mo. be natural lang kc magaling ka umarte.”
Muñoz, on the other hand, defended that she has always been “OA” in real life, replying last May 7, “O.A. talaga ako at yun ang natural ko!! At wala akong pake sayo!! Bye!!”

Another netizen, a certain Ariana, however, kindly reached out to Muñoz on the same day, saying there’s nothing wrong with listening to people’s constructive criticism.
“I like you. I watched ‘Aways Be My Maybe’ and ‘Can We Still Be Friends’ movies mo. Pero minsan hindi rin nman masamang makinig sa mga constructive criticisms,” wrote the netizen. “Malay mo para rin sa ikabubuti ng karera mo yun. This is not a hate tweet just a suggestion. Hope you wont get mad at me.”
In a change of tone, Muñoz responded to the netizen, saying she does take constructive criticism. “Yes I do. Believe me. But as an actor this is how I see my character a 20 year old girl who’s experiencing everything for the first time.”
Muñoz ended, “Some scenes might require a bit of O.Aness you see. Pero syempre we gotta adjust after all we’re doing this for yer entertainment.” /ra
