KC Concepcion on her time off from show biz: ‘I’ve really been enjoying my privacy’

It’s been almost three years since KC Concepcion left the spotlight of show business. And while she is much missed, for Concepcion, the break has been nothing but beneficial. In her Instagram Stories last night, Concepcion shared that she’s been talking to a friend all evening about why she took time off from show biz.
She admitted that she misses her fans and previous work style, and revealed that choosing to share her life again is only just a matter of time.
“They say once in show biz, always in show biz, but I think it’s just a matter of time before I choose to share my life that way again, the way I did so much,” Concepcion said in front of her phone camera while lying stomach down on the bed. “What I want to share is that I’ve really been enjoying my privacy, and as much as I want to share everything all the time like I’m used to, there’s something nice about having a private life too.”
It is known that Concepcion has lived most of her life under the spotlight. But with a mother like Megastar Sharon Cuneta, being followed by cameras and scrutinized by people all over social media and real life is hardly surprising. Which is why Concepcion’s hiatus from the glitzy world of show biz has benefited her, as it allowed her to take step back and breathe, and at the same time put up the jewelry line she’s always dreamed of.
Concepcion also took the time to empathize with her friends in the industry, who she says cope with public pressure and expectations every single day of their lives. “You know these people have been working hard and working so much and I feel for them… I just want for them to be surrounded with kind people who truly care of them.”
To cap off her #TheKCDiaries Instagram Stories, Concepcion shared with her followers something she learned throughout her career and life. “The power of a ‘How are you?’ When someone asks ‘How are you?’ and actually means it and truly cares, that means the world and can change everything for that person.” /ra
