Is Andi Eigenmann’s new beau a surfer from Siargao?

When Andi Eigenmann chose the beach over the glamour of the showbiz industry, it seems she didn’t only find a means to live a simpler life — she also stumbled upon another chance at love.
“Happy birthday @chepoxz! You are easily, one of my favorite people in the world!” wrote Eigenmann in a post she shared via Instagram on Aug. 17. Greeting Philmar Alipayo, her rumored new beau, she uploaded a photo of them alongside three dogs taken at the beach.
Alipayo, who hails from Siargao Island, made headlines last year after winning the 19th Siargao National Surfing Cup. He defeated Piso Alcala who was the former national and international Siargao Surfing Cup champion.

“You have the biggest heart I know, and you never fail to put a smile on everybody’s faces day by day. Lalo na sa ako,” she added. She also said that she is very thankful and happy that he came into their (hers and presumably her daughter, Ellie’s) lives.
Alipayo replied in the comment section of her post, thanking her and stating that he is also very happy.

The surfer from Siargao reposted Eigenmann’s photo on his Instagram account. Interestingly, he captioned the photo with “Can’t complain [heart emoji]” and used the hashtag “life is better with you.”

In another Instagram post, Alipayo shared a photo of him surfing. “Feeling single,” he said. It is worth pointing out that he declared himself in a relationship with the “#singlenomore” hashtag which he used.

Eigenmann, who had frequented Siargao, previously tagged Alipayo in one of her Instagram photos in July.
“Wouldn’t have had so much fun in Cloud 9 if not for you,” she stated. “Excited to surf with you again and learn more!”

Eigenmann shared on her Instagram Stories yesterday that Alipayo gave her a new surfing board.
