Toni Gonzaga sure is a hands-on mom to baby Seve, her first child with husband, director Paul Soriano. Raising a child is definitely no walk in the park, but despite being a first-time mommy, it’s apparent that Gonzaga takes care of Seve and instills values in him the best way she can.

Gonzaga took to her Instagram last July 31 to share to her fans one of the ways she allows baby Seve to have fun. She posted a picture of baby Seve crouching down inside a bookstore as he perused a children’s book.

“Aside from bringing Seve to a toy store when we go to the mall or travel. One of our ways to allow him to have fun is giving him the freedom to roam around the kids section in a bookstore,” shared Gonzaga.

For Gonzaga, letting Seve go around a bookstore gives him the opportunity to explore by himself and browse through a book he likes for as long as he wants.

“I believe this helps our child’s development in lots of ways. They are getting familiar with words, prints, colors, letters, numbers etc. and eventually, the value and joy of books.”

Gonzaga, too, admitted that there’s no “perfect way” when it comes to parenting. “We take care of them the best way we can and we know how. With proper nutrition, proper caring we can help our children reach their greatest potential in life.”

As baby Seve is now in his formative years, it’s only natural that Gonzaga and Soriano are devoted in keeping baby Seve’s foundations whole.

Last March, Gonzaga shared that obedience and humility are some of the values they instill in baby Seve, as well as being God-fearing. Soriano, on the other hand, wants to exercise baby Seve’s imagination and his openness to create.

“I actually can’t wait to learn from him and learn from his perspective, to be able to share to him our favorite things and then see it from his part,”  Soriano shared then.

As the two have their hands full with baby Seve, it seems baby No. 2 won’t be coming anytime soon, as Gonzaga shared they want to focus their attention on baby Seve first before going for another child.  /ra
