Actress Jean Garcia recently took to her Instagram page to share to her fans some good news. Garcia was filled with excitement when she wrote last July 27 that she is going to be a part of the film “Kaibigan” which stars Hollywood actor Stephen Baldwin. Baldwin is the brother of Alec Baldwin and the father of model Hailey Baldwin, who is the fiancée of Justin Bieber.

Cesar Montano, Alvin Anson, Presidential Communications Operations Office assistant secretary Mocha Uson, and musical duo and twins Jessie and Christian Perkins are also starring in the film. “Kaibigan” will be produced by Tess and Tarny Perkins, the twins’ parents.

Nung una, nung nakita ko po sya, I was really starstruck as anyone else (where I could not breathe for 30 seconds, sa totoo lang) but then nung umupo na kame at nagkwentuhan, he was very friendly and humble and wise and calm (apart from being handsome hihihiiii).”

Garcia also shared that she is looking forward to the start of shooting and added that she will be playing the role of Baldwin’s wife in “Kaibigan”.

“Excited and looking forward na po ako sa shooting namin next week,” wrote Garcia. “And I’ll be playing nga pala his wife in the movie, ayieeee hihihiii, pagpasensyahan nyo na po ako, happy lang po si Inday! Love love everyone!!!”

(I’m excited and looking forward to our shooting next week. And I’ll be playing his wife in the movie [gushes]. Please pardon me, I’m just happy. Love, love everyone!)

The Perkins Twins official Facebook page, meanwhile, shared last July 27 some pictures taken at the “Kaibigan” press conference held that day in ICON Hotel in Timog Avenue, Quezon City.

Baldwin, Garcia, Anson, Uson and the Perkins family were captured smiling and posing for a group shot.

Although not much details regarding the film’s plot have been revealed, the official Facebook page of the Dangerous Drugs Board shared a picture last July 17 showing the Perkins Twins forging a partnership with their agency, seemingly hinting at the film’s theme.

As per the page, the partnership is a means to “further strengthen the anti-drug campaign” and is in the promotion of the “anti -drug advocacy” of “Kaibigan”. JB
