Gorillaz hint at forthcoming new music release
There have been signs, so to speak, in London.
The hard-to-peg musical outfit debuted the new song “Hollywood” while on tour, but fans are getting excited for what looks like a fresh June 29 release.
The hype is building, thanks to teaser posters that have popped up around London’s three day music festival in Victoria Park, All Points East, as Billboard pointed out.
These aforementioned images take fans to a site called TheNowNow.TV. The site features an animation and the June date over a retro beat.
Since their self-titled 2001 debut, the group has been represented by animated characters, and voiced by Blur frontman Damon Albarn, as well as a shifting group of his famous musician-friends.
