WATCH: New Gorillaz song revealed with music video
British virtual band Gorillaz unveiled further details about their upcoming album “Humanz” — revealing the full tracklist, as well as a new song and an accompanying short film.
The new record, available on April 28, will feature 14 tracks on the regular edition, plus five more on the deluxe version. The band will also release a Super Deluxe Vinyl Box Set which will contain each of the 14 regular edition tracks on its own piece of vinyl, backed by an alternate version.
As previously reported, BBC Radio 1 will be airing the world premiere of new music from their upcoming album tonight. The highly-anticipated album boasts a slew of high-profile guests, including Popcaan, Staples, Beth, and D.R.A.M., as well as contributions from Danny Brown, Mavis Staples, Grace Jones, Pusha T, De La Soul, Kali Uchis, Kelela, Zebra Katz, Benjamin Clementine, among others.
The fresh song, titled “Saturnz Barz”, features Popcaan and comes with a music video directed by Jamie Hewlett, which sees the Gorillaz enter a haunted house. JB
