Bea Alonzo recovering from relationship turbulence: ‘When you choose to fall in love, you choose to experience pain’
Be Alonzo shared her learned lessons about love and the current status of her relationship with Gerald Anderson.
The actress went on record to say her relationship with Anderson went through a rough patch recently, but they were talking. She revealed this during an interview on the talk show “Tonight with Boy Abunda,” which aired on May 14.
“Okay naman tito. We’re talking. Syempre naman wag na natin i-ano yung elephant in the room. Yeah may pinag daanan kami pero we’re talking.”

She added, “The moment you choose to fall in love, you choose to experience pain. And I think it all boils down to who you want to experience all of that for.”
Alonzo and Anderson were reported have had troubles in their relationship recently. At one point, Alonzo unfollowed Anderson on Instagram despite previously promoting “My Perfect You,” his movie with Pia Wurtzbach.
On the other hand, when Boy Abunda asked Alonzo on who she would rather spend her last day on Earth with, she answered, “Sya siguro [Anderson] (It’s probably him).”
On May 14, Alonzo and Anderson each updated their Instagram accounts with snapshots of their trip to the crater of Mt. Pinatubo. Alonzo wrote on the caption of her photo, “My surprise morning ride [helicopter emoji] Finally saw the pinatubo crater!”
Anderson shared two photos. He captioned one of them simply with “Pinatubo.”
On the other he wrote, “Humble enough to know that I’m not better than anybody, wise enough to know I’m different from the rest ..”
Whatever the couple may have gone through in the recent past, it appears the two of them have emerged wiser and stronger than before. /ra
