Coleen Garcia and Billy Crawford are set for their summer wedding, with Garcia describing herself as a laid-back bride-to-be.
She said she was surprised with herself, revealing on “Tonight with Boy Abunda” that “I’m a very meticulous person kasi, like I’m very detailed when it comes to planning.”
But a “really good planner” is all it took for the 25-year-old TV host and actress to become a “bride-chilla.”
Still, she puts much thought into other aspects of her personal life, such as saying “I love you” in a new relationship.
Garcia shared that being with her now-fiancé was a process. “When he said ‘I love you’, it took me 11 months to say ‘I love you too.’”
“We were under so much scrutiny and you know, I’m not going to give 100 percent of myself for someone I’m not really sure about.”
“At that point, a lot of things were happening…so I really just had to take a moment to decide how I was really feeling,” said Garcia.
While she didn’t specify their situation at the time, the couple was rumored to have been dating in 2013, months after Crawford split ways with longtime girlfriend Nikki Gil.
In an August 2013 Philippine Entertainment Portal interview, Garcia denied that she was involved with Crawford. Gil revealed in a December 2013 Cosmopolitan magazine interview that a third party was behind their breakup.

Crawford and Garcia would officially announce their relationship on “It’s Showtime!” in July 2014.
