Hit anime movie “Kimi no Na wa” (Your Name.) by director Makoto Shinkai created a new record when it began airing on Japanese television on Jan. 3.
According to Anime News Network, TV Asahi revealed the movie reached 26.3 percent viewership rating. This number combined the real-time rating of 17.4 percent and time-shift rating of 11.7 percent over the course of seven days.
