Jericho Rosales’ dream for son Santino: ‘It’s not show business’
Jericho Rosales was all praises for his 17-year-old son Santino on the talk show “Tonight with Boy Abunda.”
“He’s a great kid. Solid gentleman yan. His values, his character solid, he loves sports, loves people,” he shared.
“He brings a hanky and a pen not for himself. But for his friends.”
Like his dad, Santino has good looks and a tall, athletic build. This year saw him modeling on the runway.

When asked if show biz was ever a career option for his son, Jericho said he had other plans in mind.
“I have a dream for him and it’s not show business. I want him to be an Olympian,” said Jericho.
“I just see that he loves sports… I don’t want the crazy life for him. I want him to focus sa school, so show biz was not an option.”
The 38-year-old actor revealed that they are constantly mistaken as brothers, so much so that Santino is happy when someone knows right away that they are father and son.

In Abunda’s mirror segment, Jericho described himself as a father: “Loving, giving, supportive, Saint’s barkada.”
While Santino has been living with mom Kai Palomares, Jericho and wife Kim Jones remain part of the teen’s life.
