Jay R in no rush to settle down with GF Mica Javier

RnB hit maker Jay R is at the top of his singing career, holding concerts and shows that are keeping his game strong.
Side by side with his successful career is a strong romantic relationship with fast-rising RnB singer Mica Javier. Now that most of his contemporaries have families, Jay R does not feel the pressure to walk down the aisle.
“Ngayon (as of now) no, maybe a few years from now. Her career is kinda booming right now. Ngayon gusto ko lang mag-focus lang siya sa ginagawa niya (I just want her to focus on what she does now) . Ako rin (Me too) I want to focus on my goals before I ask the big question. We’re focusing on ourselves muna. Our relationship is too strong. It’s such a mature relationship and we’re not really rushing it. We’re very much secure with each other,” Jay R said at the press conference for his upcoming Soul Brothers concert with fellow RnB royalties Billy Crawford and Kris Lawrence.
Going on for four years now, Jay R and Javier have been mutually influential music-wise.
Javier is managed by Jay R’s record label HomeWorkZ. They also do music collaborations such as their June 2013 duet “Tonight.”
Talent sure runs into the 24-year-old RnB singer’s veins as she happens to be a niece of APO Hiking Society legend Danny Javier.
Soul Brothers concert will take place at the Kia Theater on Sept. 15. /ra
