The actor who once fought villains as Red Wild Force Ranger in the “Power Rangers” TV show pleaded guilty to stabbing his roommate with a sword.
According to local news sites KTLA 5 and E! News, Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office announced on Thursday that Ricardo Medina, 38, entered a plea to one count of voluntary manslaughter after killing his roommate, 36-year-old Josh Sutter, in January 2015. Both men allegedly quarreled over how Medina’s girlfriend parked her car near their home in Green Valley, California.
Sutter then barged into Medina’s room, and the former actor finished off Sutter by stabbing him several times with a sword. The victim was pronounced dead at the hospital and Medina was arrested. But days after, Medina was released after prosecutors appealed for further investigation.
