Jennifer Lawrence in hot water after calling out reporter

Actress Jennifer Lawrence is in hot water after she called out a reporter during the press conference of the Golden Globes on Monday (Philippine time).

In a video posted by Entertainment Tonight, a journalist who was reading from his phone asked Lawrence a question. The actress won the Golden Globe for best actress in a musical or comedy.

“How do you see yourself for the Oscars?” the reporter asked Lawrence.

But the 25-year-old actress interrupted him, saying “You can’t live your whole life behind your phone, bro. You just can’t do that. You gotta live in the now,” Lawrence told the reporter.

The reporter quickly apologized but repeated the same question.

“How do you see yourself for the Oscar night and how was working…” the reporter asked but he was interrupted by Lawrence.

“We’re at the Golden Globes. If you put your phone down, you’d know that,” Lawrence said.

Lawrence’s gestures got mixed reactions with netizens. Some described her actions as “rude.”
