Cristine Reyes: ‘I’m having a baby’

MANILA, Philippines — After dodging questions regarding her pregnancy, Cristine Reyes on Sunday finally admitted that she will soon become a mother.
“Sa mga kapamilya po natin, gusto ko pong i-share sa inyong lahat ang isang wonderful blessing: I’m having a baby,” Reyes said after performing a production number on ABS-CBN variety show ASAP 19.
Before her admission, Reyes posted on her official Facebook account that “a new world” is about to unfold for her. She then urged her fans to watch ASAP 19.
“A whole new world is waiting it’s mine for the taking, I know I can make it.. Today my life begins. Watch #ASAP19 live today kapamilyas,” Reyes said.
After her admission, “Cristine Reyes” became the fifth trending topic worldwide on Twitter.
The admission came after the actress walked out of an interview last September when a reporter asked if she was pregnant.
The actress is in a relationship with her 30-year-old non-showbiz boyfriend. In an earlier interview, Reyes said that she and her boyfriend are talking about the possibility of settling down.
