MANILA, Philippines — A starlet and part-time model who is a co-accused in a case filed by actor Vhong Navarro is expected to attend a hearing before a local court this Thursday, according to a television report.
A GMA 7 footage showed Deniece Cornejo getting inside a police vehicle headed for the metropolitan trial court in Taguig City.

Cornejo, co-accused and co-detainees Cedric Lee and Simeon Raz and two others are facing charges of serious illegal detention.

Lee and Raz have entered a plea of not guilty.
Cornejo had accused Navarro of rape, which the actor-host has denied. The charge has since been dismissed.
