‘MMK’ set to air final episode after 31 years
“Maalaala Mo Kaya,” the longest-running drama anthology program in Asia, will conclude in December after 31 years on the air.
Charo Santos, the show’s host and executive at ABS-CBN, announced that the program will be ending its 31-year run in a farewell video on the official Instagram page of “Maalaala Mo Kaya (MMK)” yesterday, Nov. 21. Santos has been reading letters that inspired “MMK” episodes since 1991.
(How much inspiration can be contained in 31 years? The stories told here in “MMK” are countless—stories that are true, reflections of your own lives that give lessons and renewed hope.)

(Thank you to all the past times we met and whatever way we may meet again. This is Charo Santos, your admirer and storyteller.)
