Candy Pangilinan got candid about parenting her son Quentin, who has autism, and admitted she still has a lot to learn from him.

The actress-comedian opened up about her relationship with her son while showing a video of herself asking if he wanted to attend classes, via her Instagram page yesterday, Aug. 9. Quentin told Pangilinan he did not want to attend certain classes, to which Pangilinan asked if he preferred to go swimming instead.

Pangilinan then stressed that before trying to take away certain things from Quentin, she makes sure to find out the reason why he does not want to attend classes in the first place.

While Pangilinan understands the challenges of being a solo mother to Quentin, she believes her son is her “ticket to heaven.” She noted that he taught her to be patient, tolerant and grateful of the simple things in life, among other things.

Back in May 2021, the comedienne opened up on her failed marriage and noted that despite the struggles she experienced with her then-husband, the end of their relationship was a “blessing” since it prepared her to attend to Quentin’s special needs.  /ra
