Dwayne Johnson ‘attends’ fan’s prom: ‘Best date ever!’

Dwayne Johnson may have made a fan’s prom more unforgettable when he served as her “escort” to the party — through a cardboard cutout of himself.

The American actor, also known as “The Rock,” gave a glimpse of his “prom date” with one Mel, through his Instagram page yesterday, May 31. Johnson reposted snaps of Mel posing beside the actor’s cutout together with her friends.

“Thank you [The Rock] for taking me to prom. I had so much fun. Best date a person could ask for,” Mel said.

“It was absolutely my honor [Mel] and you were the best prom date EVER!!” Johnson, meanwhile, stated. “Great to meet your family and friends too!”

Johnson’s cutout was dressed for the occasion, donning a dark pink blazer which complimented Mel’s glittery mauve pink cut-out dress.

Johnson appears to be a famous prom date prospect as he also received in 2018 an invitation to the school event from a high school fan. The actor declined the offer but showed his appreciation by renting a theater where the fan and her friends watched his movie. JB
