Dennis Trillo treated fans to a glimpse of baby “D” in his Mother’s Day appreciation post for his wife, actress Jennylyn Mercado.
The actor greeted Mercado by showing a photo of her carrying their daughter, with the reflection of their faces seen in a glass wall, via his Instagram page yesterday, May 8.
“Araw mo ngayon mahal ko, gusto ko lang sabihin na napakaswerte ng anak natin na ikaw ang Mama niya. Deserving ka talaga na magkaroon ng isang pang napakagandang anak na kamukha mo,” he said.
(It is your day today, my love. I just want to say that our child is so lucky that she has you as her mother. You deserve to have another beautiful child who looks like you.)
Trillo also expressed his love and gratitude to Mercado, noting how he appreciates the actress and all her efforts as a mother.
“Salamat sa lahat ng hirap at sakripisyo mo, alam kong hindi naging madali. Saludo ako sayo at sa lahat ng mga nanay na kagaya mo… Kaya nire-respeto, pinapahalagahan at mahal na mahal kita,” he added.

Trillo and Mercado welcomed their first child together last April 25. The couple surprised fans with the announcement through a vlog which was supposed to be just a nursery room tour.
Meanwhile, the couple recently declared support for presidential candidate Vice President Leni Robredo and her running mate Sen. Francis “Kiko” Pangilinan, stating that their choices are for the future of their children. JB
