Andi Eigenmann, Philmar Alipayo fulfill dream to set up surf school, snack bar in Siargao
Andi Eigenmann and her fiancé, celebrity surfer Philmar Alipayo, are about to tick one item off their bucket list as they will finally have their own surf school and snack bar in Siargao.
The actress proudly showed off the surf shop and snack bar under construction in their family’s YouTube channel, Happy Islanders, yesterday, April 5.
Eigenmann also showed herself and her kids swimming at the beach while Alipayo worked on the construction of the shops along with other companions. According to Eigenmann, they have been working on setting up the shops for at least two and a half weeks.
“We are spending the morning here while waiting for papa who’s busy there working because finally, he’s been dreaming of putting up a surf school and a surf shop. Ngayon, nag-partner up na siya with (This time, he partnered with) Mang Carding of Kanaway Surf School,” she told fans. “So they are going to open Kanaway together this time and preparing the shop in time for you guys this summer.”
Eigenmann added that the surf shop is expected to be open by next week, Holy Week, so tourists can book surfing lessons when they visit Siargao.

Eigenmann and Alipayo, along with their kids, got back to Siargao late last month, over three months since super typhoon Odette struck the island.
The family stayed in Manila after their home in Siargao was destroyed by the typhoon. They left the city last March 1, then took trips to Cebu, Davao and Agusan del Sur before finally coming back to their home island. /ra
