Elizabeth Chambers has broken her silence after women came forward with allegations that her estranged husband, Armie Hammer, exhibited abusive behavior toward them.

In January, an anonymous Instagram account, for example, shared scandalous messages that allegedly came from Hammer. In the exchanges, the “Call Me by Your Name” actor detailed rape and cannibalism fantasies.

The affairs supposedly took place while he was still married to Chambers. Besides the anonymous women, past girlfriends have also come forward with abuse claims.

Though Hammer has called the allegations “bullsh*t,” Chambers released a statement on Instagram today, Feb. 2, apparently in reaction to the claims made against her ex.

“I am shocked, heartbroken, and devastated. Heartbreak aside, I am listening, and will continue to listen and educate myself on these delicate matters. I didn’t realize how much I didn’t know,” she said.

“I support any victim of assault or abuse and urge anyone who has experienced this pain to seek the help she or he needs to heal,” she wrote. “At this time, I will not be commenting further on this matter.”

Chambers, an entrepreneur and TV personality, said her “sole focus and attention” are their two children, as well as her work and healing.

Hammer and Chambers announced their separation last July after 10 years of marriage.  /ra
