LOOK: EliKoy chemistry brings the feels in BJ Pascual photo shoot
“Gameboys” stars Kokoy De Santos and Elijah Canlas looked effortless in heels and tank tops in their latest photo shoot as a BL love team.
The two actors wore clothes from no less than top fashion photographer BJ Pascual, who intended them to wear “slightly feminine stuff” for a change, as seen in his YouTube vlog last night, Oct. 26. The pictorial featured behind-the-scenes shots and conversations with #EliKoy, and was for the cover of Rank magazine.
Pascual, further explaining the look he chose for EliKoy as models, stated, “Iyong main criticism palagi [kasi sa] mga BL series is masyado silang masculine, puro masculine-presenting ang mga bida nila.”
(The main criticism of BL series is that their protagonists are too masculine or masculine-presenting.)
De Santos and Canlas were thus made up with more pinkish tones and styled in tank tops and asymmetrical tops, fitted pants, heeled shoes, and a mix of blazers and jackets.

Even as they pulled off intimate and high-fashion poses, the pair admitted that they were thrilled and intimidated to work with the top fashion photographer in the shoot for Rank magazine.
However, Pascual assured them that he himself is a fan of “Gameboys,” and revealed that he was constantly asked by his own audience, some of whom also happen to be EliKoy fans, as to when there would be a BJ Pascual shoot of the two. Pascual also thanked the pair for the representation it gave to the LGBTQ+ community.
Besides the stylish portraits, fans have also been enamored with the candid interactions of the two, and have been sharing over social media the clips of the moments that have made them most giddy — such as De Santos touching and stroking Canlas to relax the latter, Canlas leaning his arm and chin on to De Santos, and the two calling each other baby.

Meanwhile, Canlas and De Santos have also recently been tapped as endorsers of two international clothing brands, and are working on individual TV projects. #EliKoy is expected to return for season two of “Gameboys” and a film based on the series. JB
