American singer and rapper Lizzo clapped back at fat shamers by declaring that she is working out to achieve her ideal body type — not theirs.

The “Good As Hell” singer addressed the body shamers through an empowering TikTok video yesterday, June 10. Lizzo showed the highlights of her exercise routine involving different cardio workouts.

“It may come as a surprise to some of y’all that I’m not working out to have your ideal body type,” Lizzo said. “I’m working out to have my ideal body type. And you know what type that is? None of your f*cking business.”

She told body shamers to stop judging people because of what they eat and whether they exercise or not, and instead start worrying about their own bodies. Lizzo also flaunted her curves in the video by wearing racy lingerie and a black swimsuit.

“I am beautiful, I am strong, I do my job and I stay on my job,” she added.

“Health is not just determined on what you look like on the outside,” Lizzo explained. “Health is also what happens on the inside.”

Lizzo has addressed body-shaming comments in the past. African American author Dr. Boyce Watkins previously said that the singer’s popularity is due to the “obesity epidemic in America,” as per his Twitter post on Dec. 21.

The singer retweeted Watkins’s post with a sharp response on Dec. 24.

“I’m popular because I write good songs and I’m talented and perform high energy hour and a half shows filled with love,” Lizzo said. “The only person who needs to do better is you.” NVG
