WATCH: Kylie Padilla, Aljur Abrenica expecting another baby boy
Kylie Padilla finally confirmed that she and Aljur Abrenica are set to welcome another little boy into their family.
Padilla broke the news to her fans and followers via a vlog post on YouTube yesterday, Aug. 3.
Although the vlog was dedicated to her firstborn Alas turning a year older today, the excited mother took the time to share the “surprise” with their viewers.
“There is a surprise, I think it’s an open secret everybody knows,” Padilla said. The actress was reportedly already pregnant with her second child last month, as per a report by Philippine Entertainment Portal last July 11, although Padilla did not confirm the report then.
“But yes we are expecting our second child,” she declared.
She revealed that she is currently 22 weeks pregnant with their second baby.
“Baby #2 was a surprise but a perfect one. I am feeling scared and nervous to have two little ones,” she stated. “But I am more excited for the new adventure coming our way.”
She also said she is happy that Alas has a sibling on the way. She recalls that the best part of her childhood was growing up with two sisters whom she now considers her “bestest friends.”
After breaking the news of her pregnancy, the family had a “small, little” gender reveal for their fans. Albrenica popped a black balloon and was showered with blue and white confetti, confirming that they were going to welcome another baby boy.
The couple initially thought they were having a little girl this time around, but later found out it was not the case when Padilla saw the baby’s “thingamabob” in the ultrasound.
