LOOK: Sang’gre sisters reunite for Sunshine Dizon’s 36th birthday
Sunshine Dizon turned 36 last Wednesday, July 3, but she also held a separate celebration in the company of her close friends last Friday, July 5.
The actress had an intimate get-together with a handful of people, including fellow “Encantadia” co-stars Diana Zubiri, Iza Calzado and Karylle, at Le Bistro Du Dr. Wine in Makati City, as per her Instagram post yesterday, July 6.
“Thank you for spending your Friday night with me. Love you,” Dizon said.

Although Calzado was not able to join the group photo during the celebration, she was still able to see the birthday girl on the same day. Calzado posed for a quick picture with Sunshine and Candy Dizon.

Dizon also posed for a selfie with actresses Diana Zubiri and Karylle.
“My Sanggre Sisters,” she said, referring to their characters in the 2005 drama-fantasy series “Encantadia”.

Of course, the actresses did not forget their other Sanggre sister, Iza Calzado. Karylle shared a photo of the three with enough space for one person right beside her, and tagged Calzado’s Instagam handle in the empty space.

Dizon showed that despite turning a year older, she remains young at heart, as she and her friends posed with children’s balloons.
“shine at 16?! bakit may balloons? (Why are there balloons?) love you @m_sunshinedizon,” Karylle joked.

“Love you sis @anakarylle forever 16 at heart,” Dizon replied in the comments section of Karylle’s post.
The original actresses of “Encantadia” last starred together in the adventure-fantasy film “Mystified” which premiered on the streaming platform iFlix earlier this year. JB
