The two actors broke the news to their fans and followers by posting photos of themselves on their separate Instagram pages last Friday, July 5.

“#CaraXJagger” was the only detail Curtis-Smith and Madrid stated in their posts, possibly hinting at the names of the characters they will be portraying.

GMA Artist Center also took to social media to state that the two are officially being paired in a production. The talent pool revealed additional photos of the two stars on what appears to be the set of the project.

“#RuruMadrid and #JasmineCurtisSmith are #CaraXJagger! Coming soon!” the agency stated via Twitter yesterday, July 6.

Whether the project is a film or a TV series is still unclear, as no further details have been disclosed by the network.

Madrid’s latest showbiz endeavor was top-billing the recent romantic-comedy TV series “TODA One I Love” with Kylie Padilla, which aired from February to April earlier this year.

Meanwhile, Curtis-Smith has two other productions in the works. She is currently working on the historical drama film“Culion”, acclaimed scriptwriter Ricky Lee’s submission to the Metro Manila Film Festival this December. She is also set to star in the Philippine remake of the hit Korean drama series “Descendants of the Sun”. JB
