Kathryn Bernardo shrugs off breakup rumors with Daniel Padilla: ‘Sobrang saya namin’
Kathryn Bernardo quashed rumors that she and Daniel Padilla have broken up.

The actress was prompted to answer the speculations during a Facebook Live session for a cologne brand last Sunday, March 17.
In response to a tweet from a fan about breakup rumors, she said, “Sobrang saya namin ni DJ ngayon (DJ and I are really happy right now),” she said, and wondered aloud where the rumors had come from.
“Hindi porke’t hindi kami nagpo-post na magkasama kami, hindi ibig sabihin hindi kami OK,” she stressed. “Privacy na lang namin ‘yung iba. Wala kaming problema. Super OK kami.”
(Just because we do not post pictures together does not mean we are not OK. We keep some things to ourselves out of privacy. We do not have problems. We are super OK.)
Addressing another fan’s question via Twitter, she said she expected to be married in five years when she is 28.
While discussing what she wanted to achieve by the end of the year, she said that 2019 is challenging for her because she wants to achieve individual growth apart from Padilla. Bernardo added that the time apart would make them more “ready” for a reunion project.
Sunday also saw Padilla declare his love on air for his love team partner and girlfriend, after Bernardo’s pre-birthday performance on “ASAP”. She turns 23 on March 26.
