MANILA, Philippines — Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach has received her own star at Eastwood City’s Walk of Fame.

The beauty queen expressed thanks for being included in this year’s inductees in an Instagram post on Tuesday captioned: “My heart was pounding as they unveiled my STAR.”

“Thank you for this great honor and for recognizing my achievements even though I still feel like a newbie in the business,” she added.

Wurtzbach then acknowledged the people who have helped her behind the scenes, even referring to them as the “real stars.”

She said: “I salute your hard work – the time, patience and effort – to make sure that what you watch in front of the camera is something we can all be proud of.”

The 29-year-old actress-model dedicated the star to her family and fans: “To my family, all the fans and supporters, thank you! This star is for you.”

Among other personalities who received their star at the Eastwood Walk of Fame held on Monday, Dec. 10, were Vhong Navarro, Ken Chan, Derek Ramsay, James Reid, Julia Barretto, Chito Roño, Rico Hizon, Dr. Jose Perez and Marichu Vera Perez-Maceda.
