Kris Aquino talks about ways of letting go, gives fans love advice
Kris Aquino has always been vocal about her experiences in life, be it good or bad. To help out her fans who are experiencing heartbreak, the Queen of All Media penned her realization regarding the art of letting go and gave them some love advice.
Uploading a text photo with the word “#seenzoned,” Aquino took to Instagram yesterday, Nov. 3 to recount what she learned after the heartbreaks she experienced.
“I’ve learned — it’s better to not ‘block’ a person,” she wrote. “Maturity is the ability to allow a communication line to remain open yet not use it… Why? Because life already has enough what ifs… and it’s important to be able to prove to yourself that you can read that random text and finally not feel compelled to reply.”

She noted that while there is nothing wrong with reminiscing, one must visit his/her memories briefly because lingering is a waste of time. She added that one’s next chapter in life will “magically” unfold after one decided to let go of what s/he mistakenly thought was part of his/her happily ever after.

Inevitably, fans made use of the comments section to ask Aquino for advice regarding their respective love life predicaments. One fan, @norahicana, asked Aquino what she should do after her ex all of a sudden unfriended and blocked her number.
“You can’t force a person to reciprocate feelings… and you also cannot stop loving just like that,” Aquino replied. “So listen to every sad love song, honor your pain but give yourself the dignity of letting go.”
Another fan, Ness Jaranilla (@nessjaranilla), expressed her fear of being fooled once again should she unblock her ex.
“Feeling expert [laughs]… If you love him then ‘I love you’ can be the sweetest lie and can also be the most painful truth,” the Queen of All Media said.
“And it’s important to realize you can miss something, but not want it back,” chimed one fan, @carbei.
“Maybe want isn’t the word,” Aquino replied. “‘And it’s important to realize you can miss something but not NEED it back.’ Let’s be real, kung namimiss mo pa, gusto mo pa, pero ngayon hindi mo na kailangan para makumpleto ang buhay mo (if you miss him/her, you still like him/her, but that does not mean you still need him/her to complete your life).
“I thought it was me talking. #relate,” commented Berna Sergio (@tehberns).
“I have strong empathy because I’ve experienced enough of life to know we all have battles,” Aquino replied. “Just because mine have been public doesn’t mean it’s any more special.”
“I’ve always said heartbreak is life’s greatest equalizer,” she stated. JB
