Kris Aquino admits to ‘oversharing,’ warns fans her IG account may be hacked
Kris Aquino admitted that she is guilty of oversharing on Instagram. The Queen of All Media also warned her fans that her account on the said platform may be hacked.
Aquino took to Instagram today, Oct. 30, to tell her fans that her account may be compromised. She uploaded a text photo bearing the words: “Every other night I’ve received an Instagram security code. It’s pathetic that even my IG account is now a target for theft.”
Instagram has a security feature called two-factor authentication. Once set up, the user will be asked to enter a security code or confirm one’s login attempt, each time someone tries accessing Instagram from a device it does not recognize.
“Thank goodness @instagram has implemented several layers of user protection and safeguards against identity theft,” wrote Aquino. “In the unfortunate event that this feed does get hacked and you may read posts totally alien to what I have been sharing for six years, you now know why.”

She noted that baring her soul in the platform has been “cathartic.”
