Jessa Zaragoza reveals heartbreak of miscarriage in her birthday greeting to daughter Jayda

Jessa Zaragoza revealed a recent heartbreak she and her family experienced, but still went on and looked on the positive side of things.
The 39-year-old singer admitted that she had a miscarriage last April. The child would have been her second with Dingdong Avanzado. Zaragoza revealed this in a birthday greeting post for her daughter, Jayda, on Instagram Thursday.
“I’d like to take this time [a]nak para pasalamatan ka (my child to thank you), for helping me face the trials I’ve gone through this past Holy Week,” she said. “When I had a [m]iscarriage last April, you reminded me that LIFE is a Gift.”
She also credited her daughter for making her realize: “Wag natin sayangin ang bawat araw maging malungkot (Let’s not waste each day being sad).” Zaragoza turned positive and said, “We are still so blessed in many ways.”
Despite her family’s loss, Zaragoza is still thankful for her daughter. She expressed that she was “kinda emotional” as her daughter turned 15 years old.

” I’m just so proud of you Anak,” she said. “I admire kung paano mo natutunan ihandle ang mga adversities that have come your way. Maliit man o malaki.”
Zaragoza also brought up how glad she was on seeing Jayda apply her discipline in honing her craft and the respect she gives to the industry. The teen is also a singer herself.
“Salamat @jayda, Anak, sa lahat,” Zaragoza said at the end of her post. “I love you very much, My one and only baby.” /ra
