LOOK: Anne Curtis celebrates P9M opening gross of ‘Sid & Aya’

Anne Curtis celebrated the P9-million opening day gross of her latest movie project, “Sid & Aya (Not a Love Story).”

A tweet from the actress yesterday expressed Curtis’ excitement at the warm reception for “Sid & Aya.” The film also became the No. 1 movie of the week. She also offered her thanks to fans who watched and enjoyed the film.

On Instagram, Curtis shared what she called a “solid” piece of conceptual art painted by artist Vincent Aseo (@vincetaseo).

“Sid and Aya (Not a Love Story)” follows Sid (Ding Dong Dantes), an insomniac  who meets and hires the mysterious girl Aya (Curtis) to accompany him during his sleepless nights. Do they fall in love eventually or is it all just extra income for Aya?

The film premiered on Monday night in Quezon City. In attendance were several celebrities including Angel Locsin, Bianca Gonzales and Dantes’ wife, Marian Rivera.
