KC Concepcion enjoys beach trip with Sharon Cuneta on 40th birthday

KC Concepcion, 40, was treated to a birthday surprise by her mom Sharon Cuneta, who traveled far to be with the younger actress despite suffering from nausea due to severe stress.
The mother and daughter showed the latter’s birthday moments at an undisclosed beach resort, through their respective Instagram pages.
KC, Cuneta’s daughter with her former husband Gabby Concepcion, described her bonding time with her mom as the “best part of [her] year thus far.”

Cuneta, for her part, penned a birthday greeting to her eldest child.
“Happy milestone of a birthday again to my baby number 1, my eldest KC! I am so happy that I made you happier on your special day,” Cuneta said.
“I am sorry again all I could do was lay on your bed and banyo but sleeping beside you again after forever was heaven to Mama! Thank you for taking care of me,” she continued.

Cuneta disclosed in a separate Facebook post that she recently suffered from severe nausea that she had never experienced before. This, she said, was the reason why she had to skip a campaign rally of her husband Kiko Pangilinan in Bulacan.
“Nagkasakit po ako ng ‘di ko pa po dinanas sa buong buhay ko. April 7 po sosorpresahin ko si KC sa paborito naming resort para sa birthday niya. Bago po ako umalis, di ko po alam bakit bigla pong humilab ng grabe ang sikmura ko at duwal po ako ng duwal,” the Megastar recalled.
“Kahit po ganon lumipad pa rin ako para makasama ang anak ko ng isang gabi man lang… Pagdating ko po kay KC masaya kami tapos nagulat ako duwal na naman po. Kaya di na po ako nakakain sa birthday dinner nya kundi nakahiga na lang po ako sa room naming dalawa. Tuloy pa rin po ang duwal,” she further said.
Cuneta took a flight back home the next day while still feeling nauseous, prompting her to undergo a blood test. The actress-singer has since been resting as she awaits the test results.
“Please pray for me. But I don’t want you to worry dahil mukhang dehydrated lang po ako at sobra po akong stressed this whole past week kaya nagkaganito,” she said. “Ineexplain ko lang po dahil hiyang-hiya po ako sa inyong nagpuntang Bulacan kahapon… Hindi na po sana ako nagkwento at nagpaliwanag kundi po ako sorring-sorry. Maraming salamat po.”
KC and Cuneta reconciled in late 2024 after a misunderstanding, and have since been seen expressing their love and support for each other.
