Kirk Bondad among Mister Pilipinas Worldwide 2025 winners

Just months after falling short of his attempt at an international title, Kirk Bondad has earned a chance at redemption in another global tilt as he copped one of the major prizes in the Mister Pilipinas Worldwide 2025 contest.
The Filipino-German model and content creator, who represented Baguio in the national search, was proclaimed as Mister Pilipinas-International at the culmination of the ceremonies held at the Newport Performing Arts Theater in Pasay City on Monday evening, April 28.
Bondad, who inherited his new national title from Mister International Top 6 finalist Justine Ong, had just competed in the 2024 Mister World competition in Vietnam in November last year, finishing in the semifinals.
The new winner will try to score the Philippines’ second win in the Mister International contest, following Neil Perez’s victory in 2014.
The 26 contestants opened the show in printed trousers and animal masks wearing “Mandiators” from the Bragais Man collection of international Filipino shoe designer Jojo Bragais, who also provided the “Reversibelt” that the men showcased in the formal wear competition.
Four more major titles and two other minor titles were bestowed at the culmination of the ceremonies, all coming with their respective international assignments.
Dumaguete Ciry’s Kenneth Cabungcal inherited the Mister Pilipinas-Supranational title from 2024 Mister Supranational second runner-up Brandon Espiritu, and will try to post the Philippines’ first win in the contest.
Reigning Mister Global Dom Corilla relinquished his national title to Taguig City’s Jether Palomo, who will now try to post a second consecutive win for the Philippines in the international competition.
Pampanga’s Raven Lansangan received the Mister Pilipinas-Manhunt International title from Jordan San Jose, who is set to compete in the global contest later this year.
Lansangan, who was a Mister International 2017 finalist, will get to represent the Philippines in the Manhunt International: Male Supermodel contest next year.
A new prize was awarded in the national male search this year, the Mister Pilipinas-Eco International title that went to San Juan City’s Kitt Cortez.
He will compete in the Mister Eco International competition later this year, and try to post a tandem win for the country after Alexie Brooks brought home the Miss Eco International crown earlier this month.
The two runners-up also received their respective international assignments. Cebu City’s Michael Angelo Toledo will be sent to the Man of the Year contest, while Laguna’s Kenneth Marcelino will compete in the Mister Cosmopolitan contest.
The Philippines’ Emerson Gomez and Anthony Cunningham earned semifinal placements in last year’s Mister Cosmopolitan and Man of the Year contests, respectively.
The historic gathering of reigning titleholders from four of the most prestigious international male competitions also took place during the competition.
Mister Supranational Fezile Mkhize, Manhunt International: Male Supermodel Kevin Dasom, Mister International Nwajagu Chinemerem Samuel, and Corilla graced the stage, and delivered inspirational messages to the crowd.
