Yam Concepcion treated to baby shower by mom-in-law

Soon-to-be mom Yam Concepcion expressed her appreciation for her mother-in-law for organizing an intimate celebration before the actress gives birth.

Concepcion, who’s currently based in the United States, gave a glimpse of the baby shower held at what appears to be her home, through her Instagram page on Tuesday, Sept. 17.

The party was attended by friends and loved ones of Concepcion and her non-showbiz husband Miguel CuUnjieng who showered them with well-wishes and gifts.

“Just when I thought my mom-in-law couldn’t get any more amazing, she throws the sweetest and most thoughtful baby shower for us,” Concepcion said in the caption.

“[So] overwhelming to see all of the effort going into both this weekend and all of the handmade gifts and goodies that made it to New York!” she continued. “Mig and I are grateful for all family and friends who made it special, no matter the distance.”

Concepcion tied the knot with CuUnjieng in an intimate ceremony in New York in July 2021, after years of being in a long-distance relationship.

The actress announced her pregnancy with their first child last July by showing off her baby bump while in the Bahamas for a beach trip.
