Coleen Garcia admits almost giving up on Billy Crawford, but reaffirms commitment
Coleen Garcia admitted there was a time when she almost gave up on her marriage with Billy Crawford, but clarified that their relationship remained as strong as ever.
Garcia spoke about their relationship in a “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda” interview, broadcast on Thursday, June 6, when asked by the talk show host if they already parted ways.
“Hindi! Hindi talaga! Never kaming nag-break. There were a lot of instances na parang almost pero not really, kasi hindi siya pumapayag. Sinasabi niya, ‘No, we’ll fix this.’ Piinaglalaban niya talaga always ‘yung relationship,” she said.

The actress clarified that she didn’t want to end her marriage with Crawford, and instead comes from a place of being tired. She, too, said her “exhaustion” had a cure with the help of her husband who taught her the value of “commitment.”

While thanking Crawford, Garcia said her husband is the reason why she learned how to take relationships and her work more seriously.
“Being married to him taught me how to be more committed, not just in my marriage but also with everything — relationships and work,” she said of Crawford. “Kailangan kapag nand’un ka, panindigan mo. Give your best. Sa amin, he makes an effort to fix what’s wrong.”

Garcia made headlines in May after defending Crawford’s “sickly appearance,” saying he’s “healthier than ever” and is instead busy with doing “several shows” in the US or France.
The couple tied the knot in April 2018 and welcomed their first child Amari in September 2020.
