Gloria Diaz has no plans of getting married to longtime, younger beau

Gloria Diaz, 73, said that while her 28-year relationship with her younger partner Michael de Jesus has been “super good,” she has no plans of getting married again.
The actress and Miss Universe 1969 titleholder opened up about this after she was asked about her love life during the recent press conference of her upcoming film “Untold.”
“Super good,” she described their relationship, as per Bandera. “My partner is Mike de Jesus. He’s the president of [Development Bank of the Philippines] and he’s younger than me.”
While no further details were shared about De Jesus, it can be recalled that Diaz disclosed in a 2018 interview with Philippine Entertainment Portal that he is nine years younger than the actress.
Diaz said they got along well with her late former husband Gabriel “Bong” Daza III, and that the three of them even used to go out together.
“Sabi ko, I can handle two guys at the same time. Kayang-kaya. Always open your options,” she quipped, also remembering her ex-husband as a good person and a father.
Further speaking about de Jesus, Diaz added, “I said the younger man usually adjusts in a relationship if the woman is older. He became older na rin. He became mature. He’s a serious banker.”
During the interview, Diaz was also asked if marriage is something she is considering given her happy love life.
“Huwag na. At my age, alangan naman naka-white (gown) pa ako,” she answered.
Then asked about her sex life, Diaz gamely answered, “It’s good!”
Diaz, who is still very active in show business, has three children namely Isabella, Raffy and Ava Daza. Diaz is set to celebrate her 74th birthday this April.
