Janella Salvador expressed her gratitude to fans who defended her after she trended due to her “paos ako, kayo na lang” (my voice is hoarse, you do it instead) remark on “It’s Showtime” which led to her being called “rude” by others.

On X (formerly Twitter), without directly mentioning the incident, the singer-actress remarked that the last thing she would want to do was be “rude or disrespectful” to anyone and thanked the fans who explained on her behalf.

“Oh wow. I’ve been meaning to explain myself because the last thing I would ever want is to appear rude or disrespectful… and here I am being met with so much love and comfort upon opening this app. Thank you. It makes me happy to know that there are many people out there who know my heart and what I stand for. Hugs of gratitude (from behind),” she wrote.

“Asthma sucks. The past 48 hours have been such a nightmare but I’m positive my brave boy will bounce back stronger than ever, in no time,” she wrote. “[I] would have really loved to see you all at the mall shows today. [I] hope you understand,”
