Did Jam Ignacio fly to Japan after his NBI visit?

Two weeks after allegedly mauling his fiancee, disc jockey Jellie Aw, businessman Jam Ignacio sparked speculation on his whereabouts as his recent Instagram posts suggest he may have flown to Japan amid the physical injuries charges against him.
Ignacio’s latest Instagram stories raised questions about whether he left the country amid the ongoing investigation. One of his shared photos was a view from an airplane window.

He also shared an image of a train station that seemed to be in Japan, based on the visible signage for the Yamanote Line and Keihin-Tohuku Line. Ignacio also seemed to have paid a visit at an APIT Autobacs Shinonome, an auto parts shop in Koto, Tokyo.

Ignacio also gave a glimpse of him enjoying a cup of coffee in the streets of Tokyo. As of writing, it is unclear whether his latest updates are real time or a throwback from a previous trip.

On Feb. 21, the 39-year-old businessman visited the National Bureau of Investigation, a day after he was supposed to present his counter-affidavit on the physical abuse complaint filed by his ex-fiancée.
Ignacio’s legal counsel, Oscar Karaan, said that they were hoping that the complaint will be handled out of court.
“My client, he is trying to mend with his girlfriend para sana ma-settle ito out of court or out of the fiscal’s office para hindi na humaba kasi pinagpipiyestahan sila sa social media. Hindi naman kailangan umabot sa ganung sitwasyon. Dahil usapin ito na puwede naman nilang i-settle between themselves,” he told ABS-CBN.
Ignacio’s previously made an appeal to Aw to fix their relationship, stressing that he still wants to marry the latter despite the alleged physical assault.
Aw, on the other hand, emphasized that while she has forgiven Ignacio, their planned wedding is officially off as she remains determined to press charges and hold him accountable for his actions.
Ignacio came under the showbiz radar after he became involved with actress-host Karla Estrada, and their relationship lasted nearly five years.
