Jhong Hilario and Maia Azores celebrated the 3rd birthday of their daughter Sarina by holding a children’s party at an orphanage in San Juan.

Sarina’s birthday celebration was documented in a YouTube vlog by Jhong on Wednesday, March 27, where the jolly child was seen playing with other kids, giving away food and gifts, and performing the song “A Whole New World” for them.

“Nag-decide kaming ‘wag na mag-celebrate ng special sa birthday niya. Instead, nandito kami ngayon para magbigay ng party para sa kabataan na hindi masyadong nae-experience ‘yung mga party at celebration,” Jhong said.

(We decided to not have a special event for [Sarina’s] birthday, and instead hold a party for the children here at the orphanage who don’t always experience parties and celebrations.)

“Nakakatuwa kasi makikita mo talaga sa mga mata nila ‘yung saya. Tsaka syempre, sobrang blessed ni Sarina kaya talagang gusto namin mag-give back,” he added.

(It delights me because you can really see the happiness in the children’s eyes. And of course, Sarina has been very blessed so we want to give back.)

Sarina also gave away food and toys to children in their neighborhood and in schools in Davao City, as their family’s way of expressing gratitude amid all the blessings they have been receiving.
