Box-office queen Kathryn Bernardo recently celebrated her 28th birthday in El Nido, Palawan, with her friends and called it her “happiest birthday to date.”
The Kapamilya actress posted an Instagram reel on Thursday, March 28, that shows the highlights of her birthday bash as she and her friends had the time of their lives on a yacht. The reel also features Bernardo in her happy element as she stuns in an elegant white cocktail dress.
“What a day! [I] didn’t want it to end. [I’m] keeping these moments in my core memory forever. Thank you for making this my happiest birthday to date. Cheers to 28!” she wrote.

Bernardo celebrated her special day on Tuesday, March 26, 2024, at Isla Amara in Palawan, where she’s part-owner with Piolo Pascual. At her party, she was surrounded by her beloved family and closest friends, Alden Richards, Jericho Rosales, Kakai Bautista, Lovely Abella and Maymay Entrata, among many others.
In the comments section of her Instagram post, the attendees of her yacht party thanked Bernardo for giving them a good time and letting them be a part of her celebration.
“Salamat sa napakaganda mong ngiti bai, sobrang masaya akong nakikita kang masaya! Mahal ka namin bai!!!” wrote Entrata. (Thank you for your beautiful smile, I’m so happy to see you happy! We love you!)
“So happy to see you happy. What a celebration, love!!!” wrote Arisse, one of the actress’ non-showbiz best friends.

Bernardo’s mother also penned a sweet birthday message for her, thanking her for being strong, despite experiencing some struggles.
“Shout out to you, my daughter. You haven’t felt okay lately, but you get up every day and refuse to quit. [I] really appreciated your desire to talk and share your problems, ideas, and opinions, and very much appreciated how you consider the guidance of our family in every step of the way,” wrote her mother.
Meanwhile, the “A Very Good Girl” actress’ ex-boyfriend and former love-team partner Daniel Padilla also greeted her via Instagram Story, simply writing, “Happy birthday to you,” in Japanese, with a blurred image.
Bernardo confirmed her breakup with Padilla on Nov. 30, after they had been together for 11 years.
