Anne Jakrajutatip boasts Miss Universe legacy amid spat with Paula Shugart
Anne Jakrajutatip launched the Miss Universe Organization’s (MUO) “JKN Legacy” on the heels of plans by Paula Shugart, the pageant organization’s former president, to sue her for “false and outrageous comments” that supposedly besmirch her name and reputation.
On her Instagram and Instagram Story, Jakrajutatip made no reference to Shugart’s statement; instead, she shared a photo carousel of MOU’s pool of officers under the Thai-owned JKN Global Group, as well as Miss Universe 2023 Sheynnis Palacios of Nicaragua.
The clip — which was originally posted on Miss Universe’s Instagram page — also includes Jakrajutatip’s co-owner Raul Rocha of Mexico-based conglomerate Legacy Holding, and Filipino-American skincare entrepreneur Olivia Quido-Co who serves as the MUO’s vice president for global partnerships.
“Across the Universe. The Miss Universe Organization JKN – Legacy,” its caption read.
