Paulo Avelino begs Kim Chiu to stay in new ‘Secretary Kim’ clip

Paulo Avelino has crossed the line between boss and secretary as he begged Kim Chiu to stay by his side in the teaser of their upcoming series “What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim.”

Avelino and Chiu explored a more heart-fluttering side to their chemistry in the Filipino adaptation of the hit K-drama of the same name. The series marked their second project together after “Linlang.”

The 30-second trailer uploaded on a streaming platform’s website showed Avelino in the role of a “perfect boss” who needs a “perfect secretary” as played by Chiu. But then, the secretary decided to quit, leaving him to beg her: “Don’t leave me, please.”

Teaser of the series likewise showed what fans can expect from Avelino, as the serious boss, and Chiu, as a hardworking secretary.

Details about the character names of Avelino and Chiu, as well as the storyline for the Philippine adaptation of the romantic soap, are yet to be announced, as of this writing.

“What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim” – which will premiere in March – also stars Jake Cuenca, Janice de Belen, Romnick Sarmenta, Angeline Quinto, Pepe Herrera, Gillian Vicencio, and Kaori Oinuma.

The upcoming series was an original 2018 K-drama hit that starred Park Seo-jun and Park Min-young.
